Roy G. Klehm
History of BCN:
Founded in 1988 by Roy and Sarah Klehm, the 500-acre, drip-irrigated Beaver Creek Nursery is situated on the fertile heavy clay soils of Northern Illinois.
A unique feature of Beaver Creek Nursery is the combination of "bread and butter" landscape plants, as well as the more unusual plant cultivars. A world-renowned plantsman and fourth generation nurseryman, Roy Klehm has personally selected and introduced many of these superior cultivars, after years of evaluating their performance. Beaver Creek Nursery is also a USDA testing station for new plant introductions.
